Finished the gear swap sure grip and all. It is so much more fun now. I got one duster emblem now I am looking for another. Anybody know how to get the smell of fish out of a car?
 
Flattened a cam, bent 2 rods, and a bunch of bad lifters. I will post pics if anyone wants to see em. No for now new cam from summit and new lifters and 2 new rods. time for a break in period.
 
Did you ever come up with a name for your car yet gunship? Didn't see this one but how calling it "gangreen"(spelling)?
 
With all the problems I have had I think I'm going to call it "Problem Child". I would like some graphics to put above each tail light "problem" one side and "child" on the other. I havent quite figured out exactly how I want them though.
I do know most of how it happened. I have pushed the engine way to far RPM wise which explains the rods and I didnt know i needed zddp in the oil so thats the current theory.
this break in period is killing me.
