A250 - 904 Driveshaft Compatibility.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew if the driveshaft for an a250 would be compatible with a 904 transmission?

I bought an 8.25 rear end out of a 73 duster which had a slant 6 and an a250. I got the driveshaft as part of the deal. As is I would have to shorten my driveshaft to fit the 8 1/4. It would be amazing if i got lucky and the a250 driveshaft was compatible with my new 904 to 8.25 set up. Thanks.

Yes,the spline on the yoke is the same as a 904 and the length of the 833/4spd and A230/3spd is the same as a 904 so should be fine.
