Nice work! I’m going to need to do something very similar. Did you sent your motor to be level (with respect to the floor/rocker)? Just wondering if your transmission output shaft is around 5deg down. I’m still figuring this all out.I kept chopping on the floor as I raised the trans into position, and when I was done underneath I used the radiused flatbar to build the trans hump around. Yes, in several pieces, but it's about as small as possible.

How are you going to use an A-500 trans, with the small crank register? Are you going to have the register made larger, to the 1.81 size?Yes, I’m aware of the smaller register in the crank in 67-earlier V8s and slants as I’m going to run a 66 273/235 in my 65.

That will work.Yes. As a matter of fact I have 2 more V8 steel cranks and one 65 slant crank and will get them all done at the same time
