A500 pan on a 904

I remember reading somewhere that you can put a 500 pan on a 904 and the added benefit is more fluid capacity. Is there anything else thats involved? Do you use the same filter/screen or do you have to change it too? Does the filter/screen now being further off the "floor" of the pan affect anything?

Should be a filter spacer with the pan.

Check www.mopartsracing.com. The spacer is the same for both 727 and 904 trannys.
