I am piecing together a 1978 318, steel crank motor. I have a 833 A body 4 speed attached to an aluminum mopar SB bell. I have looked over wayne brewer's info. I guess I need a 10.5 inch flywheel, 130 tooth, 2.16 register. Should I not be able to find an OEM flywheel at parts store??. Wayne has them for $200 plus shipping. Only thing I see at O Reilly is a fly for a d100 pickup that is bigger.
Going in a 79 F body Volare duster.
I have couple of 10.5 flys but they are the small register.
I punch in Summit, it shows an OEM fly for $50 10.5 , 130 tooth, but says it is not for a 71 duster which is what I have bell wise????
I have a used 10.5 pressure plate /disc I would like to use. NO race car, just a poke along driver.
Last time I pieced this together was 15 years ago and I had piles of this stuff laying around to chose from....
Please guide me along!! Thanks

Have the register hole machined larger on a flywheel u have. I do not think this should be difficult, common flywheel-130 teeth, internal/nuetral balance, correct size register, 1968? - 1980?

Yes, I believe all aluminum ones are 10.5” but there are different variants, different pilot diameters and clutch form pivot styles.
