I drive past this at least once a week.

Those trailers parked on either side back in almost daily.

One of these days, something is gonna happen and it ain't gonna be good.

I've also noticed the cement blocks are getting slung closer and closer to the car.

That car was on craigslist a few years ago, but the asking price was IIRC $2800 with very little room.

Now it's just slowly rusting away.

IIRC it's a 70 or 71 318 car that has a marine style tuck and roll interior in kind of sad shape.

:(:(:(:(

I've way better luck waving cash, even ridiculously low amounts of cash, in the face of owners of cars like that.

Maybe you should try it?

I offered $1600 and said I might go up just a little.

That was about 3-4 years ago when I was buying parts cars for $500-$600.

Didn't run IIRC, quarter to rocker seam was bubbling out pretty good.

Interior is just GOD awful. IIRC wiring harness was partially out.

Quarters were just starting (pretty far along now).

Even at a conservative $35 a month for storage, there's $1680 just for it to sit and rust.

Did you actually pull $1600 out of your wallet and thumb through it in front of his face?

When I say wave it in front of their faces, I mean that literally.
