Anybody knows of a place that sells or makes precision adjustable pinion snubbers for a 8 1/4 rear end?
...or anybody attempted to make one for 8 1/4?

easy 2 pieces of square tubing that fit inside each other and a traction bar snubber. total cost to make 10.00

And it'll work on a stock pinion snubber plate and how tall should the square tubing be cut?
That cannot be answered from here, as only you know what will fit in there, and until you have the snubber, you won't know either. Plus if you have soft springs, you will likely want a different installed height than if you have stiffer springs; cuz speedbumps will hammer that thing up into the floorpan, and make your teeth hurt.

like this?

I see Mancini has adjustable (but not precision) snubbers for 8 1/4. I've looked and no makes a precision adjustable snubber for 8 1/4. Gonna have to get my old man to fab one up.

How precision does it have to be holding a garage door open?

LOL
