I am considering using and aftermarket bellhousing like the Lakewood or Quick Time set up for safety. I was wondering how the clutch is inspected and how the the cleanance is measured/checked when there is no inspection cover. This will be a street driven application so servicing is an important consideration. Does the bell have to come off or can it be done another way.

Looks like a challenge I am sure some of you have overcome.

Thank you

hi, you can bend a steel welding rod (gas rod) to go through the hole next to fork, and measure clearance. john calvert told me about that trick. you have to have some one push pedal in. I've always used pedal distance off the floor for mine. just food for thought.
