Okay, I have the chance to buy a 68 Cuda convertible. It is a 318 car, no motor. Everything else is there. Needs a ton of work. All the floors and trunk need replacing, panels included. Will need a new top, not included. The front of the car will be professionally installed. The total for the car and front installation is $1250. Includes an extra his and decklid I would sell...
I know pics would help, but don't have any...

Uhh, yes. If you aren't a buyer hook me up because I might be.

Not that this should kill the deal, but just a thought, some of the Year One sheet metal required a good amount of work to get a good fit, as opposed to the newer AMD/Goodmark stuff.
I suppose it we're only talking floor pans, no biggie. The quarter panels are night and day difference. Without pics it's hard to tell, but if the car is that rough, it would be a safe bet it needs quarters too. If you are doing a lot yourself that's one thing, if you are going to pay someone else to do all the metal work, you are gonna be in for big bucks if this car "needs a ton of work".

You have been looking for a long time. I say buy it and start working on it provided you have the space. Sounds like an awesome deal with the chance to finally have what you want.

I found a pic of the car, doesn't show much, but shows what the project will entail..

When you say front end will be professionally installed, are you talking about the missing inner fender structure and radiator support??

btw, even in this shape how can you pass it up if you have the skills to make the repairs?

Yes, the inner fenders/radiator support is what is going to be installed. The skills part is iffy...

The body shop is going to put the front end back together from what the original post stated.

The inner fender/radiator support will be professionally welded, the suspension components would be reinstalled there as well to make it a roller. Sorry for any confusion...been crazy around here!:banghead:
