My question is witch are the best springs to run.

I have a 71 scamp 500hp 500tq with spring sliders and im trying to figure what are the best springs to go with. I want one with a higher ride hight and that wont sage over time a bunch..
 
I just put two 002 superstock springs on my 64 vert and I can put my hand on the top of the 215 60r14s tires without touching the fender.

I think if I was to do it again I would go with the 003 SS springs.

I may remove a leaf to get it a little lower.

I had an 003 and an 002 on the car but I did not like the lean.
 
You do know that you can get rid of the lean by increasing the preload on the left front torsion bar... or decreasing it on the right... And probably make the car hook better in the process. Just went through this with a friends car, but weren't after looks. He was after better hook at the drags.
If ya like the height of SS springs and don't wan't to run air shocks, run the SS and adjust torsion bars accordingly.
I have XHD on my car and it's too low... I like the 60's and early 70's SS look.

I could only adjust out about half of the lean by doing that, and since I was running a slant/6 convertible I was concerned about the torsion I was adding to the frame of the car.

Plus I am probably never taking it to the track.
