Just wanted to save someone a headache. I put and aftermarket Oil pan on my 360 when I built it. Fast forward to install and startup with my 904.
Loud screeching noise on initial start. Of course some puckering with fresh mill. Turns out the torque converter shield was contacting the flex plate.
I was able to bend it out but the oil pan extended past the back of the block pushing the shield rearward. I wound up grinding down the pan edge
so it was flush with the block. I also trimmed back around the rear main seal curved area.

Can you tell us name of the oil pan in case someone may have the problem you encountered. I bought a Kevko pan, haven't installed it yet, but hope it's not theirs. By the way their packaging sucks because mine would up with a dent on the bottom. They don't insulate the pan from the outside box.

Pan was a Jegs 360 I purchased about 5 years ago. Not sure who makes them but it was kind of gold in color before I painted it.
i did my own baffling/windage copying some of the Kevco design.

My Keyko arrived with no inside packing and it was bent everywhere.
They did replace it with another one for me.
They are a nice piece for the price!

I bought a Kevco. The worst fabrication of a pan I have seen. Quality sucked. It was so deformed I couldn't use either of them that was sent.
