Aftermarket shifter and bench seat

Would love to see some pictures of what aftermarket shifter's your using with a bench seat. I am leaving the bench seat in my 71 duster. I have a B&M stealth Pro Shifter. Its a tad low, i have a tubular base built to raise it up, buts like a cartoon shifter now. lol may have to buy a hurst pro matic2 for trucks? longer handle may work better.

I am hoping to put a quicksilver in my barracuda & keep the bench! Interested in what you figured out. Any chance you could post a picture

Wow i had to dig for this pic in my archives, as my bench seat went bye-bye long ago.

I know it's not a great pic, but you can see the Quicksilver is basically moved back as far as it can be, and i was able to shift the car with ease when i had this setup.

I'm running a pro-matic 2 in my duster with bench
it is a regular car unit, and i think i paid about 100 for it, brand new of ebay
I'm 6 foot even and adjusted the bench all the way back, then installed the shifter almost tight up against it
works like a charm

the only thing i would do different, if i were to do it again is loop the cable around INSIDE the car (under the carpet?) and then through the floor, straight into the transmission, without getting too close to the headers
