Hey guys hope everyone is doing well with this covid stuff...I got a question about installing an aftermarket headunit...what are the usual color breakdown of wires for a 1970 dart as far as ignition switch...accessory power etc.. Here's what I got so far help with the wires would be appreciated!

You may have to run a full time power wire depending on which head you buy it's for clock and memory like station presets etc
 
Tap cig' lighter well for memory power. That memory wire on aftermarket head unit harnesses is typically yellow... and you'll find a always hot yellow wire near by to tap. To do this is wrong. The yellow wire you found is hot through the dome lamp bulb seeking a ground. There usually isn't enough draw or current passing to ground to see the dome lamp on but regardless, best to not feck with dome and brake lamp circuit and risk loosing your brake lamps.
There is a lot more juice at the cig' lighter circuit than you need for the head units memory. A inline fuse holder and 5 amp fuse between tap and head unit is just additional insurance.
