Anyone able to confirm if there are any sources for a full window replacement on a 1968 Barracuda Convertible, and/or if the ones listed on Classic Industries and other sites for the Fastback model will work?

Also, what is with the tinted (green tint) vs standard versions?

I have never seen aftermarket Convert Quarter glass.

I needed a drivers side rear quarter dart convert glass. I ended up finding a clear one and will have it tinted to match the other glass

The windshield and vent glasses are the same as the coupe and fastback models (and some other models as well) The door glass and quarter glass are '67-9 Dart and Barracuda convertible only. A/c cars came standard with tinted glass, and non-A/c cars came standard with clear glass. They could be special ordered either way however. The fender tag and build sheet will show the glass code the car came with.

If it is flat you can get it made at a local glass shop. You can't the the factory blue/green AC tinted color but for clear take examples of the old and they will cut and have it tempered.

When I restored my convertible I went to a local glass shop and they checked what was available. They said all the glass was available in green tint, so I ordered it all and the glass came in a week later and to my surprise and the glass shop was original Chrysler glass. Quarter glass came with the chrome on the front and the mechanism attached on the bottom. So I got greedy and asked if they had any more but my set I bought was the last set available from that supplier. If you are looking for glass I am sure I have the original glass that was in the car and it was green tint, if your interested in the glass I’ll see if I can dig it out.

I was under the same opinion. Factory A/C car would have tinted glass as standard equipment but apparently not. Still an upcharge but available. I came into possession of a factory Air 340 auto 69 swinger. The build sheet and fender data tag both show the A/C option but don't show tinted glass and the car has regular clear glass. I thought something was wrong but apparently not according to other mopar enthusiasts. Just my 2 cents
