Air Cleaner to Carb Spacer?

I've got a Super Six setup with a Carter BBD and I believe a 318 air cleaner. The bottom of it looks like it was sawed off and sits very low on the carb. So low in fact, it interferes with my throttle linkage and choke, making the pedal very stiff (has made the pedal stick once too, scary) and the choke inoperable unless I pull the air cleaner to start it; then everything functions perfect again. Just wondering if there is any sort of 'spacer' or a PN for a very thick gasket for a Carter BBD and this air cleaner? I supposed I could get an actual Super Six air cleaner, but obviously a spacer/gasket would be way cheaper. Thank you!

Spectre has these plastic air cleaner spacers and adapters that come in a pack of 3 for I think $10.00 if you head out to a store that sells their stuff. Autozone - Pepboys, etc...
