Is there a simple, effective, economical add-on to remove the water vapor from the air spray of my little compressor? I drain the tank each time it is used according the the instructions, but nonetheless it seems to be emitting more and more water vapor with each use. I would like to dry things off, not wash them down a second time (lol)! Thank you.

Buy small decadent filter and water separator at harbor freight. My shop is in nevada and have been getting lot of Moisture also had to build a large radiator with filters at blasting cabinets and coming out of compressor. But its waaay better now.

Is the little compresser always used in the same place?
Add another short hose and run it to a drier.

The key to effectively removing the vaporized water from your air is to to allow it to cool and condense from a vapor(which easily passes through most water traps) to a liquid before passing it through a water trap.

I use an approximately 40 foot length of galvanized pipe to cool the vaporized hot, humid air that start kinda low and gently gently slopes up the wall. The last 12 feet or so slopes gently down to my water trap.

I have two down-leg sections of pipe at each end with ball valves to drain the water that accumulates, a short upward pipe comes out near the end to the water trap, which has never had a drop of water come out of it so far.

The air that comes out is drier than a popcorn part.:icon_fU:

The trick for a small compressor like that is to run the hose up to a separator mounted higher then where you are using it and drop down from there, Try it without a separator. I use my bostitch pancake and just run the hose over the top of something high in the house for air brushing . Works for me.
