Just wondering what people use after restoration. I'm on my first project car and most of the interior will be replaced but some of it will not. And like any other car Iv pulled from a field, it smells like moldy mildew and stagnated rain water. Other than cleaning as best I can, what els can I do to get I good long lasting clean smell after i replace the interior parts and clean? Is there something I can soak the carpet in and let dry before putting it in or something along those lines? Will I even have to use any thing from all the fresh smell of leather? Thanks

best thing for carpet is remove it and hang it on a clothes line, pressure wash it till clean water comes from it; and let it dry

rest of the upholstery clean and make sure no mold is in it. air fresheners stink for the most part and only mask the smell; they never actually fix the root of the problem
