Just thought I'd share my personal procedure on alignments, since just did one on my Dart the other night.

I start with accurate height checking on the drive on rack, after it's known that it's level. Then, I foucus on the rear, shimming the axle as necessary to make sure the toe is equal on both sides. Once they are, the thrust angle is usually reduced to zero. Then its time to re roll the car, check the measurements again, before moving to the front. I switch screens to the chassis measuring/squareness checks. Here, differences in wheelbase/cross measure can be tackled with adjustable strut rods. I made the necessary adjustments, and equalized the wheelbase and crossmeausurements.

Now, the car is level and square, which is very importment BEFORE adjusting caster, camber and toe. Once this is done, now you have a car that is aligned thoroughly
