all electric house amperage

how much amperage will an all electric house use? say in summer, you have the A/C on, washer,dryer,computer,radio,lights AND you have your (gag) electric car in the garage on a fast charge. is current house wiring/breaker boxes up for this change? is the infrastructure going to be able to handle the demand you and your town ask of it? just curious. thanks!

Most older total electric homes are 200 amp.
I`ve read recently that some, if available, are going 400.
Probably large homes with electric cars in mind.

I was going to say a minimum of 300 Amp service. Some areas, like California are having problems with brownouts due to older and overtaxed grids. I would check that out very carefully before building an all-electric house.
