has anyone run their heater hoses under their air gap manifold just wondering

I'm just the opposite. I always route heater hoses as far AWAY from the engine as possible. On my 64 Valiant, I cut the heater hose bracket off the slant 6 valve cover and ground the spot welds down smooth so it would look cleaner. I routed the hoses over on the passenger's side inner fender. I cannot STAND hoses covering up an engine. 'Specially one as beautiful as the slant 6. lol Also, the extra length of hoses serves a purpose. It gives plenty of excess hose for "wiggle room".

I didn't run my heater hoses through the air-gap but I did run my PCV line through it. I didn't want a bunch of ugly rubber hose running all over so I bent up an aluminum line and ran it under the intake and out the back of the engine. Then I have a small section of hose running to a vapor catch can and then another small section of hose running to the PCV.

I thought that's where nitrous lines went?
