did the slant six use the same alternator bracket throughout its run? Im referring to the bottom pivot mount that the ignition coil also mounts to. Im aware of the drivers side mount, but i am looking for the pass. side only

I recently wired in a 120a alternator on my '66 Dart (thread floating around here) and I had to trim the bracket by about 1/4"-1/2" to get the new alternator to mount. I used a grinder so it's not quite straight and looks pretty amateur. I'd like to try again with another mount and use a mill this time. I dont know if there may be one that would work better or without a mod.

There were two basic different mounts. The cast mount you have on the early engines, and a stamped steel mount on the later engines. Not sure what years were which. I have done three of these conversions, using the cast mont. I just cut it close with an air saw, then clean it up with a grinder/file.
