Alternator Wiring Help!!

Hey guys I am about done with the install of the 410, trans etc is all in. I just need to put 1 end on a fuel line, radiator, fan and carb.

Question: My alternator has 3 prongs. I know where the Post lug goes but am confused on the GREEN AND BLACK WIRES and I dont want to cross them.

Can someone Post a Picture of their Alternator and what color wire goes where!! It has been 18 months since I tore it apart and need some help!

Just lifted the hood on my '70 Dart... Black spade connector was just below the post. Green was further down and to the side. Hope that helps.

Well it is the stock harness that worked before I touched it. I only took the ends off the alternator. I thought that you could have them on either one but just wanted to make sure!!

if your talking about the two FLD. wires on the alt. they can go on either terminal.

Yes exactly what I am talking about. Their is FLD stamped on the alternator.

My wires have a curve in them that would put them in the same spot as you say........
