Aluminum bumper brackets, a new offering

Nooo, just wearing you down slowly haha

I'm going to try them on a steel bumper for a while. I think they will hold up, an I beam is strong when standing.

I dont recommend it.

Ive been looking into .250" aluminum prices. There has been some interest for this. The CAD changes are small to accommodate it. The thicker material easily doubles the price at this point though. I'll keep looking for better pricing.
 
I'll try it with the light ones and see how it goes. I'd be very surprised if they "drooped" down or sagged at all. I'll let you know some time tho
 
Got mine last night! They look AWESOME! Can't wait to get them all bolted up.

Got mine yesterday also. Nice parts! Wont be able to put them on the dart for a while with all the other stuff i've got going on. I also need to get a fiberglass bumper coming for the valiant now.
 
I can only echo what the others have said. Really nice workmanship and man are they light.
I can tell I am gonna end up polishing these along with my wheels. Lol.
Jeff I did not realize you also had the fender struts and aluminum carriage bolts. I would like to order those too.

Thanks Duane! I have been concerned about the response to the finish of the aluminum. So far there are no complaints regarding the finish. Its usually scratched when I get it. I have thought about polishing the parts but it adds so much more time to a part that is basically hidden from view. I might at some point try some brushed finish to see if it conceals the scratches and "fog" that the water jet creates. Be sure to post some pics if you decide to polish them.

I don't push the fender rods and bolts as much as I should, the bolts are easy, just buy a large quantity and sell them. A lot of customers don't use fender rods but might if I advertised them better. They will be more visible once the website is up and running.

Yes sir, I also sell 3/8" aluminum carriage bolts, nuts, flat and lock washers. The fender rods are made from .035 wall 3/8" aluminum tube. The bolt "unit" sells for $2 each and the fender rods are $15 pr.
 
The bolts sound cool. I made my own fender rods years ago but I won't share how (don't want to be rude when you are selling something n give a DIY way)
 
Well, I was happy to pay & recieve my front and rear Duster bumper brackets yesterday. It would have taken me a month of Sunday's to do a crappy job instead of spending a few bucks on some really nice parts. I have far to much on the table right now to even bother trying to make parts much less some other things that my world needs right now.
