i have a 68 valiant with 76, 400 ci bb,have about 400 horsepower does low to mid 12s, only minor engine work, 72 heads,cam,headers. any body else running a hay hauler engine like this? and dont make fun or line up and get shut up, suprised many chevys, just looking for horse power tips not to be made fun of engine choice thanks
 
Nothing wrong with your engine choice. Put a 440 crank in one of these and have a real fast hay hauler.
 
I alllways like the tip section. Nothing like big motor and light car. He he he he :thumblef:

This is my sons street car Dart with a .030 over stock stroke 400. Comes out to 406 cubes. Has the MP .557 cam and KB pistons with bone stock Eddy heads. Its a full interior all steel street car. Has run 11.60's with 3.91's and 11.55 @ 116 with 4.30's. Ron

im putting in a 400 too. Planned on stroking my 360 at first but after my friend got a 440 for his Scamp, I didnt want to be outdone. Plus theres nothing like a BB, hopefully it will be in by the end of the year. Need a 4 speed to go with it
