Amazing video

That is kind of disturbing, I don't quite know what to make of it, but then again I don't need to have all the answers either, I'm not in charge.

thats kinda of creepy. cool but at the same time I wonder what/how it happened

The power of Christ compells you! The power of Christ compells you!

Kinda neat, I guess

Hmmm ..... kinda hard to fake it with the dead pilot's family involved - former shipmates, etc. How would you pull a scam together like this (not that it's impossible). Movie will be next, no doubt. I believe it's "appointed unto man once to die", but there are things we won't understand for awhile yet - then the "veil" will be removed ........... in the meantime I'll just continue to play with my rusting toys (carnal man that I am).

For what it's worth...

USS Natoma Bay was an escort carrier, CVE 62. Three squadrons rotated on it during the war: VC-63 (FM-2, TBM-1, TBM-1C); VC-81 (FM-2, TBM-1C, TBM-3); VC-9 (FM-2, TBM-3).

FM-2: Grumman Wildcat fighter built by GM
TBM-1, TBM-1C, TBM-3: Grumman Avenger torpedo/level bomber built by GM

Escort carriers had two main missions: convoy defense and amphibious landing support. This ship performed the latter.

Nobody could ever mistake a Wildcat for a Corsair. Lt. Huston flew the Wildcat.
