Amazing what Rallyes Can Do

-
They look good on the right car, but in some ways I think they're over done. Would have been nice if Chrysler gave us more wheel options from the factory.

What's your tire/wheel combo specs?
Nothing special. 14x6 wheels with a 225 70 rear and a 215 front if I remember correctly. I sold the car about five years ago to fund my 71 Barracuda project.

I'm a huge fan of Mopar rallye wheels.

In my biased opinion, they are by far the best looking of any factory steel sport wheel designed for a trim ring.

IMO olds rally's are a distant second.

It's hard to argue with the original intent of the package that involves an optical illusion
I think they made a huge goof by changing the rings to be non-reflective.

For many years I drove my Swinger with stock hubcaps on it. More recently I picked up some nice stock SBP 14” Rallye wheels and put 215/70/14 Cooper Cobras on em. I am still amazed at how much the wheels took the car from “grandma” to “sporty.” First pic is the hubcaps, the rest are recent - mostly at Donut Derelicts last weekend.

I love your Dart and the wheel swap, I've always loved the Rallye! On my build I wanted a bit taller, these 17" Year One 1 piece aluminum Mopar Rallye's did the trick for me.

My Dad put these on about 30 years ago... bbp 14". The tires are the same age. They are still on it and holding air!

Just what that car needed and I love the earlier centers myself. If you really want them to pop put some correctly sized polished stainless trim rings on instead of brushed.

Thanks. I know that Houndstooth wasn't exactly a Mopar thing (I think Mopar did a small checker and sometimes herringbone), but when I was having a local shop recover the seats, it looked so cool that I couldn't resist.
My brother's 1970 Duster 340 came with a bench seat in Houndstooth pattern.
