amc hemi swap

Well I was going to try and keep factory back seat but just didn't work out . Sticking with just a roll bar since it won't see much track time and didn't want to worry about full cage driving around town

(Xs-9513x powermaster) I could not clear an older 5.2 /5.9 mini starter and did not want to try and pull headers off so went this route . made a new (pics show ones that comes with starter)adapter so I could spin the solenoid to clear the header . I did have to remove the 2 big bolt boss on the block but running a 4l80e so no block to trans adapter

I’d be interested to see your 4l80 mods. Floor pan and mount... looks like you’re doing the Reid bell with it?

sorry havent been on the page in a while , yeah reid bell housing with ck performance trans pump adapter , and machined pump housing . floor mods was just a notch to clear the cooler lines but with stock lines may have cleared

After the '34 plymouth build, Im doing a 68/9 AMX or a 73/4 opel Monza......big decisions.
 
That is a really nice AMC, most of those rotted worse than A bodys.
 
I like that a lot and I am an AMC man. There is a Frankenrambler section on The Amc Forum for stuff like this, I think it would be appreciated.
 
Badass build!! I was going to ask if you were the one who built the blue power wagon (I’m on pirate too). You have to bring it to the zip tie drags at Tucson in January
 
are they doing another one in 2020 ? i didnt see a schedule for it , if they are and car is running good we should be able to make it . possibly jump in on the cruise when they stop or pass in phx
 
That is 100% bad-assery right there. Saw the Trans-am series cars up close last year, very cool but none of the hoods were up. AMC's dominated.....

Yeah we asked Freiburger if that was going to be an annual thing (Tucson). He 2020 for sure but not sure after that.

What gauges are you using?
 
So, what's powering the Power Wagon rock bouncer truggy thingy? Looks killer!
