With just a bit more work this could be an awesome rod. Lose "whatever that is" for an air filter, and remount the rad so it "fits."

that 65 is tom chamberlands old car. 440 6pack that fits under the hood.. he was a big time mopar guy around here for years.. built the snowbird national record holder back in the day... he passed away a few years ago.. glad the new owner kept it exactly the same..
