Amps or Volts

What to put in my 67 cuda a cluster of gauges, oil, temp, and amps or volts??

Volts. It shows the batteries state or lack there off. Same idea with Amp's. The volt gauge is safer, though I have never personally seen what everybody cries about when there's a fire. Never.

The thing I like about a volt gauge is IF the Amp gauge goes bad, or wire to and from it, you can still start the car. All the battery energy goes through the Amp gauge. Not so with the volt gauge.

I'm an old guy. I still like amps. But "modern troubles" have changed that, I've finally thrown in the towell and gone to a voltmeter.
