hera are the pics of the rally dash i just restored. it is not 100%, but i would say it is at least 90%. which is great for daily driver.

Looks super. How about a close up of the heat/ac control? What was your technique on that piece?

It looks really good. I'll probably do that to mine too on the 67 fish. I have in the past sent mine out to get re-chromed and reworked. It came back looking great but only lasted 3 years and started to look scabby again. I don't think it was worth the 350 + bucks I paid to get it done. Maybe it would last longer if I had the car in a heated garage full time.

i used no chemicals to strip it. i bought one of thse blasting cabinets from harbor frieght. i bought the better one that they sell. i actually media blasted it in my cabinet. sheww, that stuff is exspensive.lol. but it did not hurt the lines on the plastic at all, so i am happy.

i will have to get a close up of it. it looks like new in pics, but i do not have a steady hand, so there are some little flaws where i painted on the silver for the heater control letters.
