Syncrude, base plant, what trade do you have, and you might try clearwater/golosky they are looking for haul truck drivers, boring but good money.

I am a 4th year electrical apprentice, with about 6 years experience. I can send a resume to your email if you'd like. What part of Canada are you from? I forwarded the haul truck drivers site on to the guy I live with, as he is looking to get away from roofing.

E-mail a copy to syncrude recruiting they are always looking for people, originally from Nova Scotia been here for about 8 years or so,if he is not fussy he can try guardia they do the security at the plants he will not get rich but he will survive, you can try resumes at suncor, petro can, albion, cnrl, they're all looking all the time,oh long lake too.Are you in the towers or behind the superstore?in the nice weather you can go to the A&W in thickwood Wed.nights for cruise in lotsa mopars(big money cars)the guys that have been here for 20 30 years are pretty well off.

DartMike been to local yards yet see some old gold sometimes.

Thanks for the info, that is great information! I also had no idea there is any Mopars here, the only thing I've seen so far is a early 70's 4 door Polara. We went to one yard that had a lot of Winnebagos, but there was only a few mid 60's C bodies. What are the other yards called?

there is two of them out by the airport, bishops and I forget, one day they hauled in a 72-73 road runner with the good hood and he was gonna crush the hood, couldn't believe it,there is supposed to be a good yard around boyle somewhere but I haven't been able to find it but if you drive to Edtn. take the old highway from Boyle and keep your eyes open you'll see a very nice collection on the way, lots of old stuff.Lots of mopars here hemi charger,340 swingers, quite a few early challengers ,lil reds, coronets, road runners, etc.not far from your place there is a nice road runner and some big block dusters, you never see them except at cruise nites and shows other than that depending on your shift you might not see them at all.before my time here there was a hemi coronet down at the bottle exchange for years no one wanted it,imagine.Oh and try casca they have a lot of bodies at the plants and mines.

I forgot down around wandering river on the other side of the river you can barely see it there is a collection under some tree cover he's got a lot of old stuff too,and around Lac La Biche there is supposed to be some good stuff, according to the guys I work with,I'll ask Dale next time I see him he's always finding old stuff(he picked up a 69 impala #'s matching 396 car driveable for 3500 99%rust free with the original spare in the trunk)

Holy crap I forgot uranium city, never been there but it is supposed to have quite a yard nothing was ever crushed there, according to one of the guys I work with,he swears there is all kinds of stuff there.
