Another Cuda is coming back Article

Except during the '60s-'70s Darts and Valiants sold like crazy. The new Dart has been discontinued due to poor sales.
Correct! Also a crap car. To much wrong with them.
If you dont make what the people want than why make anything
Sometimes they think they know. Sometimes there right, sometimes there wrong.
You make that statement (Freaking ridiculous as it is) like this board (FABO) are the only buyers of there future cars. If such was the case, we would have what we want! But! There is the rest of the world!

Perhaps you can do a better job? No wait, just remake a '70 Dart. You'll have a whole (FABO) board and then a few purchasing it from you!

Combine all the thoughts above and what do you end up with, an inexpensive tire burner available to the masses. Winning combination, at least from this board.

I could do a better job, they just couldn't afford what i would do lol. They would need another bail out from the government. All im saying is they are quick to slap something together without making it stand out and distinguish the body style from other models in their line up, why do we need so many challanger/charger platform models? They all start looking the same after awhile, it makes me sick. These guys today have no idea what designing a vehicle is, they like the copy and paste method

Charger and the Challenger look the same?
Why do we neee so many on the same model platforms? Cost. Design an entirely separate platform that is 100% out of the gate and you will have done something no company ever has.
What other platform do s there to build a car on that is so separate and different so it can meet you standards?

If your any good at drawing or computer graphics, do us a rendering of what YOU would build and sell. (No joke!)

The Dart, Scamp, Duster, Demon, Barracuda, Cuda and Valiant were all on the same platform. And they looked the same as each other too. Same thing in B-bodies. It worked back then................

Woohoo a 2dr. dodge charger cuda, blah blah, they already ruined the demon name, please don't ruin the cuda or barracuda name.
They improved the Demon name. Not only is it a badass car but how many people would've never heard of the Dodge Demon otherwise.

Im not saying the charger and challenger look alike, im saying why use the challenger platform to make a demon, or use the charger platform to make a cuda. I know its about cost but sometimes the most cost effective way isnt the best. i was perfectly happy with just the regular challenger and charger models including the hellcat. Lets be real, no doubt the challenger demon is badass, but wouldn't it make sense to use the money it took to develop that car and invest it in something else? Perhaps a new model actually worthy of a vintage name? Im not disputing the fact that the cars are badass, i just think they use poor design and name choice. How many badass factory drag cars do we really need? They already made the challenger drag pak, and it would destroy the challenger demon, so we are going backwards now?

Challenger sales are going up every year. Great Car! Charger too-fantastic! I still don't understand why we can't get a light weight decent sized (similar to the old Duster or dart sport) only aerodynamic and fuel efficient. Our A-bodies sold like crazy. Give me a new bench seat and a multi-speed trans ect. Would sell like hot cakes.

Dodge today doesn't impress me, they were way ahead of the curve back in the late 60's into the 70's. Doesnt feel that way now. I dont know how many times i have to say its not tge cars i disagree with, its the "name choice" what is fiat going to do next? Convince jeep to build the new bronco for ford

So, back on topic....

IF Chrysler corp comes out with a Cuda, I certainly hope they do the namenplate justice. But I don't expect the Cuda of old in anyway shape or form.

At least let it look bad *** and be fast!
