I have no idea what you mean, don't know a thing about your relationship with Rob and Kitty. or the relevance of haughtiness to my website ... but agree that your bid match (and helping my daughter years ago) merely confirms you ARE indeed The Man!! What an amazing gesture of kindness and generosity!!! It renews my faith in humanity.

I do have to agree with the owner of Phoenix Specialty Coatings
on one point , FABO has 43,000 members & all We can squeeze out of same
is $ 1,000 ??? shamefull, & absolutely pitiful .
I am out.

I know there are a lot of us just getting by and also a member pointed out we should run it after the first of the month. Your generosity is fantastic.

I don't think that is really called for. You are not taking into account donations that other members may have sent directly to them without announcing it to everyone and/or the amount sent.
Only Rob knows the full amount raised and if he wants to share that number or not is up to him.

I hope whatever was raised helps them both!

The generosity of members here is a beautiful thing. I know some people would rather remain anonymous with donations, so I have not said anything. I would rather leave it up to those who have given. There have been more donations given than just the auction prices though. We are thankful for every penny and even moreso for prayers.

Class act. Kudos RRR:thumbsup:

I had missed that Dfr360cuda had specified the buyer pay the $14 shipping to Rob, so here's that.

Well it looks like it is pretty wrapped op here a few stragglers but I am sure it is just one of those things with people away this week. Great job all! Please leave feedback for the buyers and sellers. RRR hope this took the edge off. Ray

yeah, I agree. Some of us had already spent our car budget for the month when this came out. Which is why I knew i couldn't bid but I did offer up some stuff for the auction. Regardless, this site is truly amazing as I've been on others where something like this would only have gained 20-30 bucks. if that. That said, Rusty, hope it helps and hope you and your wife recover as best as one can. God Bless.

I will say this. when we give to a worthy cause, whatever it might be...., we, the giver, receive many dividends. it may be in financial help we receive on down the line, it may be in a wonderful feeling simply because we did something worthwhile. and not everything in life is measured by $$.
