to be honest, the only canadian musician i can i think off (off the top of my head) is that fellow who did the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald

R.I.P. Gord. You wrote many a song that will be remembered forever. Those who have not heard The Tragically Hip, you have been missing out on a very talented group.
 
Huge loss. A very proud talented Canadian. Ive seen them several times and put on an awesome show.

Missing my deceased buddy Andrew who was the biggest Hip fan around.

I'm sure Andrew and Gord are best friends by now.

Been a fan of these guys since their first album. But I really only like the albums Up To Here and Road Apples. Everything after that was too dark for me. Here’s a great song by them
