Decided to join as I've purchased a 73 Dart 340 Sport. I bought one new in 1973 - my first ever new car purchase - after graduating from college. Kept it 10 years and then sold it. Been a Ford guy ever since. My current toy is a 427 Cobra replica I built years ago. 429 SCJ and a toploader 4 speed.
Over the past couple of years I've wanted another Dart Sport like my first one and I found one on eBay that is almost exactly like mine - black with cream interior, white side stripes, 3.90 sure grip rear, and a four speed. The one I bought is an auto and has the snorkel scoop, which mine did not have. It needs a total resto and I hope to get plenty of info from this group. Nice to be a member.
