Another small block stroker combo to ponder.

I like torque too.
Before I die, I'd like to build a 400 stroker A-body.
Or at the very least, get to drive one.
For at least a summer.

As to the parts haggling, I'm pretty sure we were just funning. At least I was.

What does it take to put the fuel injection in an older car? I do have a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere 4 door I could put it in.
A tank with pump, harness and correct pcm flash. If running 408, you will want larger injectors and bigger 850 cfm TB.

Just?
318/8 x 10 =397.5 cubes
I thought they were 488 to 510 cubes
What's the stroke again?
I'm guessing more like a 340 with 2 extra cylinders and,AND a strokercrank.
For 2008, the displacement was upped for about the 4th time to 514 cubes. It made 600/560 from 4.055 x 3.96 stroke.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
5----------6------------0...... capital T, Torque

They are a little bit more complex than that. The big problem with them is everything that says Viper on it costs$$$$$$$$

you are right, i think it was 4" bore and maybe 3.58 stroke but I am probably wrong, didnt it come out in 94? I think that was last time I paid attention to one...only remember a few thinks were common to magnum V8's.

Pretty sure it was '94 for the Vipers and Ram V10s. They weren't 4" bore and 3.58 stroke, I wanna say like 4.03 bore and 3.79 stroke. They were 488 8.0Ls originally in both, Magnums always were until they quit making them in '03.

Actually the first viper was 4.00 by 3.88 stroke and the truck V10 had little in common with the Viper engine. Later they came out with the SRT 10 ram that had the same motor but the old 1994 to 2003 truck motors were a little different. They had cast iron blocks and heads where the Vipers were all aluminum. Both had massive torque numbers
