I for one like utg and I will tell you why. I personally like people who teach cheap budget builds and show just what you can do with that old 318 you dont plan on ever using. I for one get sick of the the same old routine take your block to a machinist spend 6k and get an engine back. I want to do it myself and know how and why thing work or in some cases dont work.Just like the rtv on the freeze plugs in the one video. Stuff like that is valuable information to the new guys that dont already know. Alot of you guys that have been there done that can scoff and roll your eyes and be like why wouldnt you put rtv on them every one knows to that. Except the ones that dont!!! Maybe its possible that he left it off on purpose just to show the new guy he was training what would happen so next time he will remember to use rtv. I for one like videos and instructionals of the cheap budget shadetree guys like myself. Not everyone has unlimited resources and top of the line tools and deep pockets to solve problems. I think the guy is over the top sometimes and is a character for sure but I learn alot watching his videos and get a kick out of watching him bogart that joint. :rofl:

Uncle Tony is a hack, if you can afford to do hack things to your car, go for it. some of us want to spend money once and achieve the desired results, which is it works the first time...:)
 
Uncle Tony is the guy you roll up on, and look at his car and and say " psssh...you ain't getting any chics with this Piece of ****..." :)
 
I guess a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while...in the real world though no woman wants to get into a 68 dart 4 door and go on a date. They'd say "lets take my car..." :)

Ironically, I just had two ladies whom I don't know or ever seen pull up yesterday and ask "is that a Duster?" Years ago she had a '72 Duster. We talked for about 15 minutes and I had to get busy. No, they weren't looking for dates and neither am I. I'm just saying there are a lot of girls/ladies that like old cars. My wife is one of them.
 
Yeah but they cant be ratty hacked up pieces of poop, a la Uncle Tony..you know the seats have to have upholstery, the headliner should be in it door panels interior shouldnt wreak of gear oil from hauling an 8 3/4 chunk in the back seat..etc. lets not argue common sense here.... wait, never mind...:)
 
Cars that Uncle Tony call "builds " are yard cars. A yard car is a running wreck that employees of a very large automotive recycling center(junkyard) use to run out and pull parts then haul them back to the office for the customer to pick up...

I don't know about you or anyone else but I build my car for me, not for hoping some chick will like it lol, if you need a car to attract a woman that would be the wrong woman unless she shows you pictures of her Mopar 1st.
Secondly the dude probably needs a flashy car to get a woman because he can't without showing off
 
i watch his vids from time to time.he said he gave up drag racing and al drives the car or he will put someone in the car.love his vids.but i see he just all does this for fun.its his full time job.makes money off of vids.hes also has intrest in bikes
 
I like his videos as well. Is it what I would do? No.
You know what they say about TV. You don’t like the program, change the channel.

True,true. Im talking High school, back in my day it was what you did you got a set of wheels as soon as you were old enough to drive. The hot chics dated guys with cars. i mean its been that way ever since cars were invented I would think...hell i bought a cheap car when I was 16 ,my mom said "who told you you could buy a car...?"

it was a 79 Mazda GLC, and I quickly traded it plus 200 dollars for a 71 Pontiac Tempest with a V-8 then mom was like "why do you have to squeal the tires every time you leave...?" :)
