I'm thinking of adding a/c to my '69 barracuda but want to keep the right side fresh air vent for when it's warm out but don't want to put the air on. With vintage and classic, you block off the cowl vent. Old Air Products' evap box seems small enough to where I could fit it in and then fabricate a vent box similar to what is on the driver side for the fresh air vent.
Does anyone have experience with their a/c systems. Do they cool well? Work well?
I'm in South Florida so for June - October this thing has to blow 45 deg or colder otherwise it will be a waste.
