Here are the 91 Sport I had, factory sunroof with 5 speed, and my current 99. I absolutely love driving these things!

I guess we got a bunch of Jeep nuts here as well! Thanks all for posting you stuff, I dig it and yeah man, the simplicity of the CJ/YJ/TJ's is pretty damn cool. Not to mention riding topless, in the breeze, on the way to a cool 4WD trail is priceless. ****, they're a box on a frame.

WJ's and later are a different story, way more complex, but way more powerful and way more relaxed on a long road trip.

I have an 04 jeep tj. Fairly stock just adjustable track/control arms and heavy duty steering; and some engine mods such as cam and ported head with some fancy valves and rockers.

It has a jeep grill and is kinda jeep shaped.
Please put some window nets in that thing before you ever test it out.
My buddy lost part of his arm above the elbow last year, because of a roll over.
A simple window net would have kept his arm in, when the buggy rolled and crushed it.

Screwed up thing is he applied for disability, they told him he did not qualify because he still had one good arm.

They should have told him "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

Or is that too straightforward?

Fact of the matter is, he made a series of decisions, and is suffering the consequences thereof

I dont see why the rest of us should foot the bill for that

I thought it was ironic that the useless welfare people can get disability saying they have headaches, but a guy who was making good money, paying plenty in taxes all his life, gets hurt, and its tough crap.

Oh don't get me wrong, I am thoroughly against the funding of the lazy

But this is like a guy who smokes 2 packs a day and then expects someone else to buy him a new pair of longues

Yep, almost owned one last June, I love them... best of both worlds

a 2 door cherokee is about as close to a trailduster as my budget will let me get
I hear that, same here

I was gonna say that, but afraid I was going to be banned, lol.

He just gets along ok now, thank goodness he had a decent savings account, but that will not last forever.

Just put up my 1989 up for sale. Too many vehicles in my stable right now.
Wish I had known that.
I want to spend the time to work on mine but I dont want to drive the Barracuda around town and especially this time of year. I got away with it until January so not complaining. :)
An XJ would be just fine.
