The word is don't buy TCI . What about a 904 from hughes purchased from
JEGs? the street fighter is what I am looking at . How are their transmissions?

Try John Cope of Cope Racing Transmissions - Mopar guy who is a sponsor on Moparts - builds a darn good tranny for a darn good price...

Located in Indiana ...

I see a lot of people complaining about Hughes also.

Never hear one bad word about John Cope's tranmissions.

Buddy has a trans shop in AZ.....he used a few different Hughes convertors over the years and was never happy with them. When I lived in AZ the few times I went to the dragstrip did see several racers with his stickers so he must have a following of sorts....

The word is rebuild your own. Stupid simple to deal with, right on your kitchen table! :D

Cope sells PTC converters. Why don't you call PTC directly? Kenny Ford is a big Mopar guy and he races a 69 Valiant in 6.0 index. I had them do my 904 and bought the 11" vert from them.

x3 on John Cope.......that is what I am running, great 904. I was talking to him at Monster Mopar a few years back and he told me that at least 50 of the guys out here have his trans. He does recommend PTC.

Yep, and you can even use the dishwasher for a parts cleaner.

DISCLAIMER: and your wife will kick your butt for it.
