Any White Stripes Fans?

Yup I'm a fan. Jack and Loretta Lynn (the country icon) did a great duet album a few years ago. I can't remember the title right now but it was fantastic.

One of my all time faves! Jack White is the man!

Man, that is so cool! I wish they had some tour dates, Meg had some problems with stage fright or something and all their tour dates got cancelled. A year ago I almost bought tickets to see them in Fargo but it got cancelled too. :angry7:

"Slow Gin fizz works mighty fast when you drink it by the pitcher and not by the glass uh ha, uh ha"

I would love to see them live! Jack White is one of the most inovative guitar players of our time. Just unique. Im the kind of guy who appreciates unique guitar over that "I can play scales faster than you can" hair metal crap.

Ya. I like 'em.

My 12-year-old-son was working on Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground at guitar lessons.

I like the Raconteurs too, although I still like the raw sound of the White Stripes a little better. Jack White always gets such great tone from his guitar.

One of my favorites is Hardest Button to Button. Great offbeat lyrics.

Very good song! Yup, they're good too.

I took my 14 year old son to see them a couple years ago and was able to get 3rd row seats. They rocked! Jack White is a talented musician/producer/actor.

I guess you got me on that one..............suckered in.............8)

I thought we were talking about white stripes on an A-Body.......

By the way, that lead singer sounds like he listened to a lot of Janis Joplin as he grew up.

I have Elephant and I love it! Could someone suggest another one of there disks. I just watched that youtube video and those songs rocked.

i picked up their first cd years ago right after they turned down Pepsi stating they didnt want to be a commercial sell out. I love people of integrity.

moparker, you want to get all of the first 4 disks... The White Stripes, De Stijl, White Blood Cells, and Elephant. Pick up White Blood Cells first. It is definitely in my top 5 albums of all time, right up there with Led Zeppelin I and Dark Side of the Moon.

I also think they're great; I listen to them once in a while but I usually listen to stuff that's a little more "chill". Ever hear of The Arcade Fire, Wolf Parade, or The New Pornographers?

Hey MOPEkidD I saw Deltron 3030 do a show in Victoria once too, he was really good. Some guy lipped him off and called him a Lemon or somethin, and Del just ripped him a new arshole and told his security to get that guy outa here, it was great.
