I have been running a set the 273 adjustable rockers since I built my 340. At the time they were clearly worn, with some galling on the shafts or in the rockers, probably both…can't remember exactly. I decided I'd file them with jewelers files, buff with emery cloth and run them temporarily. That was over 75K miles ago. And quite a few passes down the strip shifting at 6,800-7,000.

The last time I checked preload some of the interference fit adjusters were quite worn, and I resorted to some lock-tite. But I need to do something.

1) Can these rockers be bushed, and new adjusters/lock nuts used.
2) Is there a good alternative on the market that doesn't break the bank.
3) Anybody got a real nice set of used ones with no problems?

Will do. Plan to refresh with a Lunati VooDoo cam this fall/winter, will likely get new shafts then, but the Crane adjusters will get me by for now. Thanks.

Yes they can be rebuilt. The ratios can be changed. They can be bushed. Most anything you can think of.
