-
684mulas, those are great!! I collect that era of cars!!
As far as Hotwheels.....I have about 10,000 of them.Alot of JL, MB, and other brands also. I collect the older stuff, and Most any brand of Mopars.....ya, I have alot!!

Between my dad and I, we figure we have about 2,100 hotwheels...

I can post pictures lately. I collect Mopar only really. But still appreciate his intense collection. we have multiple complete sets and everything...

also have more matchbox/ johnny lightning, and other random assorted 'model' cars.

I have mostly Johnny Lightning. I have been picking up all the Barracudas and a few others as they catch my eye, since they issued my car in the Muscle Cars USA series back in 2003. It was photographed it at Fall Fling 2002 in Van Nuys. It was all a big surprise... my car was just a daily driver... the JL photo crew was picking out 440 Roadrunners and things from the show field... then one of my buddies told me "hey, there was a guy asking if they could photograph your car", so I went over to talk to them. It turned out they were interested in the unusual color. Then, of course, the model didn't match it at all.

First, the package...

Later, I took one and swapped on Rally wheels from a Duster model to make it look "right" -- they came with chrome mags.

I had a tiny collection of 1/24 or 1/25 scale mopar diecast. Now they are just collecting dust in a box. I have a couple Charger Hot Wheels and one '68 Dart Hotwheel.

Then I have my current favorite.

My 4 year old nephew was in a second hand store when he walked up and gave his dad a car like the one above and told his dad "For Uncle Kyle."

Even at 4, my nephew knew I liked Chargers :D

I've collected since Jr. High school until just a few years ago. I'm 38 now & I've got 1000's of HW's. unfortunately they all sit in boxes in the garage. I do have a few Mopars set aside on a shelf in my computer room. I was always disappointed there weren't more Mopar Treasure Hunts. One day (hopefully soon.) I'll sell all but a select few and reclaim my garage space!

I cant even tell you how many thousands I have. I buy them quite often. I started in the 80's. I'd buy 2 of each one to open and one to keep closed and hang it on my wall. I had so many that I never opened them and just started putting them in boxes when I got home. Then I started putting them in large rubbermaid totes. When one would get full I'd buy another one and start filling it and so on and so on. To be honest I have no idea what I have. There is about 4 or 5 large totes that I havent looked in since I closed it in the 80's-early 90's. Johnny lightning is the same way. I liked them better because of the better cars and brighter colors. I have a couple of very early redlines still in the package. I dont remember which ones but I remember the packages were kinda beat up, but that was YEARS ago when I last saw them. I wont sell them. I sold some to a "friend" some years back and heard how much more he made selling them. I didnt buy them to make money on them, I guess im a closet horder LOL. When I sell them it will be for a retirement fund. And if they arnt worth what they are now, Oh well. I enjoyed looking for them. Id take pictures but it would take me a year to dig out the older tubs.

Dont get me started on old Nintendo games and systems....

What About 1:24 & 1:18 as well, have a few of those as well

I used to have a MASSIVE Hot Wheels Collection but sold them all to afford a muscle car that turned out to be a scam in most sense of the word.

Now I'm just trying to collect MOPAR Hot Wheels on the cheap. Sadly Canada seems to get the shaft on some of the Hot Wheels. I've looked for certain ones and they are never in any store I go to. Like seven of the MOPAR MANIA from 2012 line up. I've got to three different cities and they only have the same ones.

I used to collect them and had almost every Mopar hot wheels ever made! I was just missing a very few exceptionally hard to find ones. Like 1 of 6 in the world type cars. At one point I had over 12k cars all in the package, no not all of them were Mopars. I eventually turned my collection to the redlines, prototypes and hard to find cars. I eventually got very sick of the chase and decided that I needed to sell off my collection and spend that money on a real car! I think just in time to because Hot Wheels went down hill on the quality and went up in price.!
