I know this post isn't really about Volkswagens, but the largest and most active car club around here by far is the Volkwagen club. The early stuff, air-cooled rear engine stuff. The have sort of a club house in the woods on many acres (30? 50? not sure). Lots of parts cars. Couple hundred members? And they're way younger than the old farts in any of the muscle car clubs. Anyway, it dwarfs anything else around here.
