Anyone ever used the powder coating kit from the Eastwood Company?

i've had it since 1998 i think.. i do all kinda stuff with it - rims, headers, manifolds, pulleys, you name it.. i like it alot!

i think i paid 150 for the kit...

i found an old oven in the trash, the burners were shot - but the oven works...

took alumuminum plate and put it on top ( another workbench) and put it on casters to move..

generally 400 deg for 15-20 minutes....

being clean is BIG... i use wax and grease remover, and wire parts to the oven rack...

heres a before and after baking...

you can see the gun on the ground under the header...

i also have taken chrome parts and powdered over them with translucent purple to match purple anodizing.

Thats cool, thanks for the pics. put up more if you have them please. sounds like you are pleased with it. Is there anything else you can say good or bad about it? Do you find it as durable as they claim? How long would it last on manifolds/headers? Would an 8 oz bottle really be like 3 spray bombs? I'm sure i'll think of more questions :) thanks
