I just picked one of these Professional Products dampers up cheap and I'm wonderin if any of you have used them and if anyone can tell me which of the two counterweights I need to use with a 360, thanks much I hope it works out to be as good a deal as I think it was lol

the instructions should tell you which one to use....

which should be the heavier of the two

Small Block Chrysler - We provide one damper model that can
be used without a counterweight for internally balanced engines,
or use one of three supplied counterweights for other engines.
The 80012 and 90012 Dampers will fit the following applications:
a. All internally balanced 318 V8 standard and Magnum, all
internally balanced 273 and 340 engines w/forged cranks.
No counterweight is used with any of these applications.
b. 340 externally balanced 1972-’73 engines w/cast crank.
Use supplied 91014 counterweight.
c. 360 externally balanced 1993-’97 engines w/cast crank.
Use supplied 91013 counterweight. Will not work with '93-'97
5.9L Magnum engine.
d. 360 externally balanced 1971-’92 engines w/cast crank.
Use supplied 91012 counterweight

Also be careful on the lenght of the bolts that holds the pulley on(the side with the counterweight) if there too long they will bottom out against the counterweight and not tight down al the way.

Thanks guys, also good advice. It didn't come with any paperwork so I decided to tap into the information highway lol

Mine came apart after 1 season of racing my 11-second 360. I did some checking & found others has had the same concern.
I replaced it with a Pro-Race balancer, its on its second season.
I got it covered under warranty. However, I sold it new in the box. I didn't trust it.

mine came apart after 2 years...seems they had a bad batch ......suppose to be fixed now....

Going on 3 years with a Pro-race balancer I have on another car. There will be one on the 340 I'm putting together for my Challenger right now.

Do these Pro Race balancers have the timing marks engraved? that plus the stock one being messed up is why I picked up this Professional Products one dirt cheap, but maybe I should turn it and invest else where

I actually bought the same balancer and would like to clarify what weights I need to use.

I have a 98 5.9L 360 Magnum engine which isn't listed in the instructions. It lists the 93-97 Magnum 360s to use the 91013 counterweight.

I thought I remember my engine being internally balanced? Did the 5.9 magnums become internally balanced in 98?
