I found these in the garbage. They seem to be worth a bit of money but, I can't for the life of me figure out what they fit. I've been asking on forums, and searching endlessly online. I'm sorry this isen't a mopar part, I am just at my wits end trying to figure out what these fit!!!:banghead: I need help!

All the brake rotor mounts measure 6 on 80mm. I measured the inner diameter of the bearings with a harbor freight micrometer. I came up with 24.5 front and 19.5 back. I can't find anything online that has this particular gear rubber setup either.

They say made in italy on them so I assume they are in fact machesini rims.
They have a number 71189

ducati I think but am not positive. I go to Vintage Motorcycle days every year and camp next to the Canadians (great guys!) and they are Ducati specialists and I have seen those wheels there. Or ones VERY similar

just by looks there older yamaha (pre 06)or kawi wheels ..not sure but there $2500 wheels

check out bayarearidersfourm.com..someone there will forsure put you in the right place

Duc 998 I believe. I can't believe someone pitched em. Those are.what you upgrade to not the factory crap you take off. I sense.a.pissed off girlfriend and a very angry x boyfriend. Haha.

I would like to know the story behind sure enough. Someone must of not known what they had. The new Marchesini wheels go for almost $3000!!!!

I believe they are VERY light weight racing wheels.

These would be on alot of Italian bikes as Marchesini make wheels for them all, like brembo makes brakes. these wheels are top knotch and with the stamped numbers would be worth finding out what they are off of. Could be a rare bike and worth some money. Any one with a sport bike that the size would fit would love to have them.

is it just me or do i need to lay off the weed. pic is from the ebay listing

oh yea ...and these sold for 800 bucks plus 50 in shipping

I had that ebay ad up, I took it down since people were telling me they werent ducati wheels and nobody was bidding. I need get a more concrete answer on what these are before i sell them off and have an angry buyer.

I am very fortunate to find them, and i was really hoping to sell them so i could buy more car parts. I just cant figure this out. the brake bolt pattern is used on a few bikes including ducatis. The rubber pieces for the gear drive just don't show up anywhere on ebay or the web. I have seen nothing like them! A lot of ducatis are single sided rear swing arms, these cannot go to these as they have the gear drive on one side and the rotor mount on the other side. so that rules out a ton of bikes made by ducati.

I almost feel like someone threw them out to drive me f'n crazy trying to figure out what they are for. I got a headache last night trying to search different manufacturers cush drive systems and rotor bolt patterns!:banghead:

thanks for clarifying Dan , i was a bit confused. i thought they sold. good luck though, you should be able to make something off of them.

NOPE, that's a single sided swingarm bike.

The single sided swing arm ducatis seem to have a rim that is offset as the brake rotor and gear drive are on the same side. Also i think the bearings are in the swing arm so there is no bearings in the rear wheel. I just can't see these fitting one of those.

SirDan,

You are absolutely correct that I'm incorrect. :) I'm working again this weekend, but I'll try to get some more info for you.
