Huge 007 fan.Saw it tonight,a little different.Any takers,to comment?

I have not seen it, but want to. Have heard it should go up for some Oscars, but the Guild frowns rewarding series movies.

Oh M, but loved the movie! I love the car taken to Skyfall, just sex on wheels

X2 on Best 007 movie in ages! Daniel Craig acted the part of 007 on point!

It was very good. A new director that doesnt shake the camera all the time helps alot.

The movie story line is about a former MI6 agent that got kicked out of the agency by "M", and steals a computer chip with the names of all the good guy spies worldwide.
The good guys want to retreive that chip, hence where 007 comes into play.
And the former agent want's to kill "M" to get back at her for kicking him out.
The opening action scene is great, but then there is too much dry dialog in the story line, before some other action takes place.
There is a new, younger "Q" now, that really doesn't have much to do, except to be a computer genius to foil the bad guy.
And i won't tell you what they do to "M" in the story.
I wasn't really disapointed in the movie, but on the other hand, i didn't think it was that great.
I think Daniel Craig is a good Bond, and plays the character well.
It's a pretty good flick to go and see anyway.
I'm sure all the Bond fans will want to go and see it.

I've seen it 1-1/2 times. How's that you say? The theatre lost power just when the villain was introduced in the movie and they ended up evacuating the entire entertainment complex, restaurants and shops around the theatre. Went back to the same theatre a week later and saw it all the way through.
I thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I wasn't sure about Daniel Craig being able to pull off 007 before he started with the role, but now I think he's one of the best Bonds ever since he plays the role more as I envisioned it from Ian Fleming's books. The Bond family history revealed at Skyfall is a big plus to me. As always the films various location visuals are stunning and the action scenes are outstanding. The only disappointment I had with "Skyfall" was that there wasn't much story line involving the "Bond girl" in this movie.
I've seen all the Bond movies over the 50 years of the series in theatres and can't wait for the next Bond flick.

Me and the wife plan to see it hopefully this weekend. She is a huge 007 fan. I personally never cared for Bond until Craig took over in Casino Royale.

I thought the previous two Daniel Craig films (Casino Royal and Quantum of Solice) were much better. Skyfall was a bit predictable and not a film I would watch again. They destroyed an Aston Martin DB 6 or at least what represented one and I don't care for destruction of classic cars in movies. I know it probably was not a real car but just the suggestion is bad to me.

I have seen it twice and loved it! I think DC is one of the best bonds yet and very true to the books.

It was a great film, thought they did a great bond. And fyi they did not destroy a classic DB5, it was a 1:3 scale 3D printed replica.
