Hi folks, hope you can help. Was planning on replacing the rear 10" drums on my 69 Barracuda. The local parts shop is suggesting Raybestos 2932R. I checked online with Rock Auto and there seams to be listings for both 2932 and 2932R. Is the "R" just a designation for rear? Are they the same thing? They look a bit different, wider than my stock units.

Thanks for the help.

Looks like 2932R replaced 2932, the 2932's are on closeout. Either way, the 2932R is a front drum, it is wider and won't fit the rear.

Last time I checked, the rear 10" SBP drums were no longer being reproduced.

The "R" is probably a designation for riveted shoes as opposed to bonded. Anything else with different dimensions and applications would have a different part number.

Any updates on thoughts on these? I found a pair and need it for the rear of my '67 Dart.
Will these fit the rear 10" brakes?

I bought those drums. They hit the backing plate I had a machinist cut 1/8 inch off of the edge and the lip. Works great.
