Anyone here run them?
What do you think?
Accurate?
Worth it?

Maybe you should read your signature. lolSo no one, yet.
That could account for most rockers. They fit like crap is what a friend said. The pattern was way off.
I used the s/s ones on a SB Chebby, only short amount of run time, but so far so good. Mild hyd FT cam.
The Chinese stainless will likely have retainer clearance issues if the geometry is not corrected. That could account for most rockers.
The Chinese aluminum body rocker will be dead center while a comp or prw will be to the exhaust side of the stem.
Now let's go back in time where we had stamped rockers and regular 273 Mechanicals and no one cared about a rocker sweep pattern or checked. How many were on and how many were off ? That one motor that ran so good lol
I think I noticed that too when I seen them side-by-side. I have a set brand new I never used because they didn't clear the Springs at the time , I think they were about a 1.46 spring.iirr prw we're like 460 bucks last time I bought them. They were bronze bushed. The stainless Speedmaster rocker arm is the same as the PRW stainless. When comparing the 2 the roller axle is the difference.
They are built in a different room. lol
Your stem height and results will vary. The Chinese stainless will likely have retainer clearance issues if the geometry is not corrected.
There's some that look like a knockoff of the prws that have no bushing at all. I have some . Never used'em. Used the Chinese needle bearing types but not those. My main arms are comps..and MP bushed 273 advertised 7500 rpm iron rockers with shafts.I have a set of big block Speedmaster stainless, they have bronze bushing, identical to the PRW except for the roller axle.
I think clearance would still be an issue with a 1.550" dia springYour stem height and results will vary.
They design them around a factory height..and after some valve jobs and new valves..that's changed.
Theres nothing to disagree with here in this thread, stem heights between your heads vs others can be different.. so we are just sharing our experiences here and yours was good, which I am definitely glad to hear. There is gonna be yays and nays expectedly because we dont have the same heads or machinists....so its differnt heads, ,different spring diameters, different amounts of seat grinding/stem height, valve lengths etc... we are bound to have different experiences/turn outs...but this does give us all good info if shared in its entirety. We can know with what stem height, spring will work on such n such head perhaps.I disagree I bought some on Black Friday just got them set up a few days ago I felt overall they were pretty good part for the money. I'm happy with them. the sweep lined up good and they are definitely fairly beefy they locked down tight and overall I'm happy with them they are the extruded aluminum roller tip model. They do appear to have a steel bushing I would have rather had bronze .
I would trust them at about 450lb on the nose or so.

Let's see the top of that prw for its ratio designation. We know the comp is a 1.5 ,since they don't have that style in 1.6 last I checked. Maybe in the future they will. The reason the PRW/SM SBM rockers have a spring clearance issue is because they patterned them after the Comp BB rocker body design instead of their SB design.

On an ootb SM Aluminum Head the PRW rockers had hard contact with the retainer, and the roller was way up off the valve tip.
A Crane Gold and the Comp rocker both had tons of clearance.
Typically, hell yes.I think clearance would still be an issue with a 1.550" dia spring
Yes , absolutely...they put the ratio on the adjuster end.The PRW rocker I posted the pic of was a 1.5...... although that wouldn’t affect what’s going on with the valve side of the rocker.
